Additional Information

Pollarded Willow No.2 captures the heavily weathered trunk and distinctive upright regrowth of a traditionally maintained European willow.

At approximately 200 mm tall, it provides a balanced mid-sized tree for individual display bases and larger landscape compositions.

The model features a swollen pollarded crown, visible cut branch heads, finely textured bark and numerous individually modelled shoots and narrow leaves. These details create a complex, natural silhouette without requiring separate branch or foliage construction.

Produced entirely through high-resolution SLA printing, the tree is supplied in two main parts. The quick-connect design keeps assembly simple while protecting the intricate crown during printing and transport.

Pollarded willows are strongly associated with rivers, canals, flooded meadows, drainage ditches, farm roads and village outskirts. This makes the model particularly suitable for Dutch, Belgian, French and German countryside scenes from both historical and modern periods.

The deeply sculpted bark responds especially well to washes and drybrushing, while restrained variation across the foliage quickly creates convincing depth.
